The client wants to develop an informative website for their company where their internal employees (Agents) can access some educational contents (video, pdf, doc. etc) with their unique Id and password. Contents will be the same for all employees. Admin can create all employees account from the web admin panel by providing employee’s name and Email Address. Once creating the profile, the employee will receive their unique access in their e-mail address by which they can log in to their dashboard to view their member’s only contents.

Details of the Project

The Client has large no of suppliers and wants to store all supplier’s information in the website database. It will be done only by Administrator and they can search suppliers by their name, email address etc and will have the ability to edit all those information from back end panel.

Functionality

  • Challenge

    Basically supplier didn’t have any login access in the site, only Agents could access the site to view the supplier database. The supplier list was standard amongst all agents. The only difference would be the unique username and password. Agents account was needed to be created by the Admin and would be provided unique access to them. They would be able to search for a supplier and get their particular information like phone number, email address, Web address, contact person, special instructions, username and password for their access to each supplier. The admin and agent would have access to Agent access section. This would be the only area that the agent could edit.

    Actually client wants the ability to store this unique agent information in a central location. The agent would then go to the particular website in their browser and manually put in their username and password to gain access to the supplier portal.

  • Roles and Responsibilities

    Our responsibility was to enable the website owner, the admin to manage everything from the top and have the highest level of access on all significant features, like –Account creation of the employees, manage their account, manage member’s only contents (video, pdf, doc etc)etc. .Apart from this, our role was to help Admin to manage all CMS pages contents, social media links etc Website will be fully responsive and will be supported in all cross-browser and platform. The website had to be developed in English language only.
